Extra Long Solo Cross Counties and More
Congratulations to Isaiah Clapp who went above and beyond and completed two extra long solo cross countries the weekend of November 11 and 12th in pursuit of his Private Pilot Certificate.
Also, Keziah J. Fernandes was very busy this month flying her first solo cross country and passing her Private Pilot written test.
E16 Runway Re-Paving Delayed Again
The San Martin Runway will NOT be repaved today. The repaving has been pushed back again to an unknown date.
Checking NOTAMs before you fly to any airport is the very best way to stay on top of runway closures, unreliable weather systems, etc.

San Martin (E16) Airport Runway to be Closed November 1,2017
San Martin Airport’s only runway, 32/14, will be shut down for repaving on Wednesday, November 1.

- Brett Breitzman flew his first Solo Cross Country (long edition!) on 10/24 with a sign off and a hearty farewell from CFI Anissa Mohler.
- Anissa Mohler passed her Instrument Flight Instructor check ride today, 10/25, with the San Jose FSDO on her first attempt working with CFII Scott Rohlfing!
