“For once you have tasted flight you will walk the earth with your eyes turned skywards, for there you have been and there you will long to return.” – Leonardo da Vinci

I am an “Adult Onset Aviator”. I did not grow up wanting to fly, I wanted to be an astronaut! I fell in love with flight after my husband earned his pilot’s certificate. I became a CFI to share my passion for flight with others.

I am currently certified by the FAA as a Commercial Pilot, Flight Instructor (CFI), Flight Instructor Instrument (CFII), Advanced (AGI) and Instrument Ground Instructor (IGI). I am able to train for Private and Commercial Certificates and Instrument Ratings. I also do complex endorsements, flight reviews, instrument proficiency checks, mountain training (summer and fall), Bay Tour Training, and proficiency training designed to meet your needs.

In 2017 I was named a Distinguished Flight Instructor in the Western Region by the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA). My goal is to help you become the best pilot you can be. I focus on the quality, not the speed of the training. If you want high quality training, I will help you with that. If you want to just “check the box” and meet the minimum requirements, I’m probably not the CFI for you.

I also specialize in preparing pilot candidates, my own and those working with other CFIs, for the oral portions of the FAA Practical Tests. I provide “mock orals” where I simulate the experience of an FAA knowledge examination from beginning to end. I can also take you through a complete review and supplemental training on all subject areas required by the FAA. If you want to make sure you are ready for the knowledge portion of the check ride before you face the examiner or just want to know what it’s like before doing it for real, contact me!

I regularly instruct Monday – Friday between 9AM and 7PM in the summer, 9AM to 5PM in the winter. You can learn more about me and the services I offer at my website: or email me at: or call or text at: 831-246-2336
